TO REQUEST SUPPORT
Victims' Fund
If you would like to request support, please contact the Ministerial Alliance by calling Pastor Andrew Sanders (Lex UMC), (660) 259-2483, or by contacting any of the affiliated pastors in the community. Support is not limited to those who have lost a house in the fire. Liberty Utility Gas Relief
Liberty Utility has set up a claims contact process. If you are a resident of Lexington, and have been impacted negatively from the extended gas shut-off, please contact Liberty by either calling 877-379-0917 or email libertyutilitiesclaims@us.crawco.com.
Red Cross
Anyone affected by the fire can contact the Red Cross for resources and support. The Red Cross is working to find resources lasting over several weeks (or longer) for families that have been displaced, and has been collaborating with United in Crisis, a support organization in Kansas City. They are offering resources, advice, and support for families who are struggling with food insecurity due to the prolonged gas shut-off, tenants having issues working with landlords as a result of the gas or structural issues from the blast, and families who are struggling to contact agencies and negotiate the insurance claim procedure. They are also offering free 24-hour counseling through the disaster relief helpline. To reach the Red Cross, call or text 1-800-985-5990.
